Calculating Energy Use

So, I am stoned so bear with me.

I am trying to figure out how to calculate the additional cost in power when growing.
Is this correct?

((wattage * hours * days)/(1000))(0.08498 )

So in this example, I am using my actual rate for power at 8.8498 cents per kilowatt hour.
If I wanted to know the cost to run my 400w mh/hps grow light on an 18/6 schedule for ooh let's say 4 months, the calculation should look like this.

(400 * 18 * 30 * 4)/1000 = 864 kilowatt hours.
Times that by the cost per kilowatt hour is 8.8498 cents.
(864 * 0.08498 ) = $73.42

So that is $73.42 for 4 months. That would be in addition to my normal usage and fees for those months.

Is this correct, or is there a tax involved too?

Yeap you forgot to add a dozen taxes and fees. ;-)
