Kind I have a 600 watt HP's phantom 2 ballest way to much for the seedlings but they love it 2 gsc 1 critical kush and 1 liberty haze 1 gsc and ck is just about outta seedling stage the other 2 are still seeds have a gsc clone as well almost rooted

All are gunna be mothers for next cycle going to get 6 holy grail clones and 6 mob clones today actually will post a few pics soon can't wait to start flowering

For veg your killing your self using that 600 watter way too much of what you don't need vegging plants don't use too much of the red spectrum and the power bill soooo not worth it for beginners I would always recommend a t5 and don't fill it with just one type of bulb only one or two hortilux bulbs especially my king led is labeled 800w but pulls only about 350 but with led's you need supplementals from different angles there's virtually zero canopy penetration I watched a review where a grower had a "expert" guest and he explained it the best he broke it down led for quality hps is for commercial and stuff looks super drastic under the led you catch virtually anything days earlier than normal it's crazy ! Under the light you'll see a problem and you'll be like OMG it looks terrible then you bring it out in normal light and they're so perfect looking , your like WTF scratching your head ." Where did the burnt tips and that wilted leaf go?"

The only reason I wouldn't recommend led's for anyone that's learning #1 they're dangerous #2 the concept of uv burn seems to be hard for the smartest people to grasp #3 there's alot of crap led lights out there

Ya I have 2 t5 on the way should be here any day all though I have noticed that they do grow a Lil fast under the HP's compared to my last set up with flo for veg but ya not using these for long till about 1 week into veg then I want them to have all the light they need as far as quality and quantity I only know about hps no led I mean the despenseroy has bought some of my stuff before so quality deff up there an I get a decent amount with the 600 watt would like to run two exzact setup with same strain to see what the real diff is be cool to see

Who says old dogs can't learn new tricks you gotta watch the review for hps vs led on YouTube I don't think I worded it right. Led= high times centerfold Hps= what sells the fastest and easiest to work with like trimming packaging

But that's just my opinion man

In "ask ed " it sums up to wattage per square ft not too much is as important as this ratio with lights. 60 watts minimum per sq foot And on average even a smaller plants take up a yard squared just by that logic lots of lights/housings become kinda inefecient and impractical 4 ft fluorescent of any type being at the top of the list but that's the #'s trial and error is a different story there's all kind of crazy stuff a black light while finishing might be a good way to produce esters and turps without using chems like "terpinantor" or flavor enhancers like "bud candy" but how many people do you see doing it.

The highest wattage t5's are 80 watts a 8 bulb unit and the unit is about 2.5 ft X 4 ft long. That means your just scraping by with 64w/ftsq and that's if all the light gets focused straight down directly onto those 10 square ft and no where else

Yup I went straight to Cali con and they tried giving me the same run around just bs I could of sent hundreds of pictures how would they know the difference ? I would think the only one that should matter would be the receipt

That's the thing they said we've never had a problem with seeds being different colors I said it wouldn't be a big deal if they were viable but all white tiny seeds are premature and I don't collect preme seeds said if they can't tell the diff between a good seed and a seed that they wouldn't even wanna squeeze is kinda bs said I can send them back for replacement but if customs get it I lose it all so screw it I'll order from firestaxs from now on

I think more and more the only seed banks that are worth messing with are the Canadian based ones

Forsure iv been looking into firestax or root seeds but root doesn't ship stealth but there gear seems to be fire

Only thing is they're the hardest to order from. When I was kid wich I'm well aware wasn't that long ago when people were shit talking they always said they had to go in person
