image.jpg Hello,

California Light Works puts out an amazing product.

I currently have two 275's , two 550's and one 1100

I'd have to say that CLW doesn't get talked about much and sadly isn't more well known. Their lights have absolutely incredible growth response, resin production, smell, density...

You're grow is going great I'm happy that you made the call to go with clw!

I'm really liking the performance of this little light & for a first run it's kicking ass I have a 340w. cob that does good but this little light is turning into a favorite people have said this blurple won't flower I beg to differ I want the controller that would be the icing on the cakeIMG_3504.JPGIMG_3501.JPG IMG_3500.JPG

Whoever has made comments about your light not being able to flower obviously has no personal experience with the Solarsystem. These lights kick ass!

Another thing I've noticed is the color of the light in photos is different than what my eyes see in person. So possibly our cameras are not accurately displaying the colors.

my I-pad camera leaves a lot to be desired hopefully santa will hook me up with a controller this x-mas I've been real good lol... tbh I'm very pleased with this light in both quality of manufacturing & performance at the end of this grow I'm gonna give an honest evaluation of this little light & ive a feeling it's gonna shine on its first run

thank you for the kind words I had my doubts as well & as promised I will do an honest evaluation of this light at the end of this grow I flipped oct.4 I've never grown in a tent or used a blurple light or finished out this strain next grow I plan on doing better I like the fact I did get a good amount of stretch with this strain after the flip I feel I could of cut 10 days off my veg time & utilized the stretch but live & learn all blurple is not created equal

things are getting better by the day I actually think that on a gram per watts basis this light is gonna outperform my cob light they are the same strain & the same pot & medium as well as the same nutrients so we will seeIMG_3510.JPGIMG_3511.JPG IMG_3518.JPGIMG_3519.JPG

sounds like it Will be good for a legit comparison. CLW Blurple vs 4 Cob Fixture
My cob is a 6- cob Johnson that pulls 340w at the wall the clw is called a 275 but actually the draw is supposed 200w. but when it's all done the cob should yield considerably more because of a 140w. advantage over a little light that's only 200w. to begin with the cob grow is somewhat bigger but not nearly as much as the basic math would suggest of course we won't know until it's weighed up that's why I'm gonna have to use the gram per watt formula to make any comparison it's just this little light is exceeding my expectations at this point there just aren't many clw grows going on around here & people kind of hate on blurple lighting tbh I thought I might of got burned when I first started this adventure & im real close to the final outcome the harvest will tell the real story but I kind of think any shortcomings here would be grower error & not the light there must be a reason clw keeps developing lights around osram diodes when there are so many alternative light sources available

I've selected my strains for the next round the larger plant is purple city genetics doubledream & the smaller one is blackjack I'm vegging under my t-5s so I won't have to veg as long before they're ready to flipIMG_3523.JPGIMG_3524.JPG

she is doing good & is steady packing on a little bit of weight every day these aren't large buds but seem to have better density than the cob grow & there is a gang of themIMG_3525.JPGIMG_3536.JPG

IMG_3541.JPG IMG_3542.JPG I've got the heaters operational in both tents they have built in timer & thermostat I started at 60.f at lights out checked an hour later & it was still 60 so I kicked up to 65.f & it's holding it's so much easier to control the environment in the tents
