When have they ever done that, please cite examples now that your backtracking.....and deflecting on paying for more police too....awesome sauce
Dude, your fake claims of showing concern for poor people is too funny. Commercial pot is priced too high for really poor people to buy it or to cut out the black market even without the taxes. It was never about setting prices so low that a poor person who needed medical MJ to afford. Nor was the objective ever to cut out the black market. I don't live in CA, I live in Oregon where the taxes are low but the weed in the "dispensaries" is still out of reach for somebody living on low wages or disability checks without another source of income. It is low enough to put a dent in the black market, however. CA can do that but the state is full of rich people who can afford it. That's what's setting the tax rate and prices. Nothing else.

If people in CA want to cut taxes there is absolutely nothing to stop it. But you guys are so fucked up that you'll never do it. So suck it.

I grow my own outdoors. I do my best but it's not top shelf but good. My total cost including good genetics in the seed was 50 bucks for four plants. I got 6-7 pounds. I go to the "dispensary" and good weed, better than mine but not by much goes for about 50 bucks for a quarter of an ounce. There is plenty of room to sell low cost weed as medicine but that's not what the industry is doing.

Fake concern and all. You are just crying about taxes when the real problem is commercial sellers are either greedy or inefficient and probably both.

I wonder what percentage of Mendo and Humboldt weed gets sold on the black market and why. It is certainly a significant portion but likely due to an assortment of complex factors. My feeling is that mass produced and packaged products like vaporizer pens and labeled cartridges from big brands are the ones unable to avoid the high taxes, which is as it should be.

I'm currently weaning my mother off Olanzapine
Oh man, you have my sympathy, sir.

That stuff comes with warnings to not give it to the elderly, specifically those with dementia. Yet doctors have been ignoring that and prescribing it. The withdrawal symptoms are hideous. Good luck and I hope it works out well for you.

Slick rebuttal of the 45% tax increase, because "they voted" for it, and then you went on an Ad hominem rant.
