When viewing posts I noticed the "permalink" link.--------------------------------------------------------------------->

What does it do? How do you use it?

when you want to link a post directly in a thread....

meaning, lets just say i wanted to show one certain post by a member....but that post is in a thread with 300000 replies and 1000 pages..... well using the permalink you can direct to that certain post.

also works if you click on the post number
