calling all nor-cal'ers

i'm looking for any info / recommendations on a local mulch called "mango mulch" http://www.grabngrowsoil.com/mango.htm . My thoughts wereto ammendmy soil which is already pretty rich, it in old orchard land and has a ton of worms. my other idea is to use it to make compost tea mixed with a little pressed seaweed extract.

If you've ever used this let me know what you think of it before i go buy 1/2 a yard.
