Can a 630 watt CMH match a 1000 watt HPS?

As the first LF 315w and 860w ballast inventor, I suggest you don't use 630W DE on 1000w HF HPS ballast, it will crack approx 500 hours.
And 630w DE CMH bulb is also not good, the 2 burners are not exactly same, after using a period of time one burner will brighter while another one will be darker, once one of them crack, the whole lamp finish. It is better to use 2pcs 315w than 630w DE

Who was talking about using a 630w de in a 1000w ballast? And you invented the square wave ballast?
Obviously this is a bit of an old thread but as i scrolled down and read their post I was really hoping to see them elaborate. I'm down to making the choice between single 315's and de 630's. I guess their silence is about the best answer we'll get.

What is your opinion on the 1000W DE CMH Light fixtures that are being released? do you think all DE CMH Bulbs/Lamps are no good? Some people think that it is better to have 1 x light fixture ''1000W CMH'' rather than having 3 x 315w separate light fixtures.

This guy is saying that the multi element de CMH bulbs are no good because eventually one of the elements will go out making the whole useless. This is completely irrelevant because no one using lighting for any garden space is going to use the to failure.

I have been using and selling DE Bulbs for a long time and i know everything there is to know about this technology and so do the people I work along side with, I have the 630W and the 1000W DE Fixtures and as long as you have the correct Low frequency Square Wave ballast to run the bulb and also don't go over the recommended 10,000 Hours then the DE bulbs will be fine.

I would love to hear his opinion on this tho @dennis000 because he claims to be the Inventor lol

There is only three companies in the world right now that is releasing this 1000W DE CMH, 1.My company and the company I work along side with, 2. Growers Choice, 3. Sunplix.

I have spoke to these companies about there 1000W but I do not know exactly when they are releasing there's sorry, Growers Choice told me last they was releasing there's late August but they still haven't released it yet, and Sunplix have there's ready now but I just don't know when they will release it,

If you would like to try any of these 1000W CMH Fixtures let me know and I will sell you some at a nice price. I don't need to tell you how good these light are because I think you already know or can imagine lol,

Cheers!

Nothing like that full and balanced UV to IR spectrum! I just can't bring myself to buy as many sets as it would take to light a room with the 315's.
