Can I get rid of this taste??

This is my first grow. My plants have already hung until dry on the outside and I have been drying and curing for about a week. I was given some bad advise on the amount of nutes to put and only once over fertilized. After that, only water. I have been smoking some of the small nuggets and they taste fine except for a funny after taste. It has a salty maybe soapy kinda aftertaste. Is this going to go away with the curing, or am I going to have to chalk this one up to education???

im not sure never tasted no weed like that maybe to much nitrogen or the chloryphyll hasnt broken down completly yet im not sure

is it a phosphorus taste? -salty/chalky ish
a cure should make it smoother. you could try a water cure

the idea is to gently soak the bud in water, it leaches out the chlorophyll and anything else built up
you replace the dirty water every day, till it runs clear after about a week.
then you drain the bud off and dry it infront of a fan for a day

weight is lost(from all the shit you lose) but not thc, coz its not water soluble.

so the weed actually gets more potent, per gram
