My table does not go over the plants till the timer is put on 12/12 off, and its during the first 3/4 week that the tops get tucked under the table ,A lot do it the other way around or double table ,but I have found it works good for me ,to start training at the start of flowering.

I too have been trying to find out when and how to get the most out of scrogging. I’ll just share a collage of my first and current scrog experience. I started scrogging about 2 weeks before flower and 10 days after flower. I think I tucked and weaved too much bc I’m left with a lot of smaller colas than I expected. The last pic was taken at 6-7 weeks into flower. Sorry for the hps lighting...I know it can be annoying to see pics like that ha

Sounds like the best thing to do. There does not seem to be anything close to a “golden rule” or anything when it’s comes to scrogging. So maybe my mistake could be someone else fortune. But yea I think I’m going to do one more round of plants in a SOG style and then go back to practicing the scrog method on one or two plants. I’m rambling now ha. Nice looking ladies btw!

Basically, I think if you keep tucking for the full two week stretch that takes place in beginning of flowering, like I did,..it will result in a stressed plant with half the yield. Edit: obviously I could be wrong but I did notice the nugs did not swell up very well at all. All nuts looks like quality, though so there’s that

SOG stands for Sea of green. SCROG stands for screen of green. Instead of vegging for 4 plus weeks when scrogging, with sea of green, People usually veg clones for about one or two weeks , trim off much side shoots, and shove them in a tent. Idk I’m doing a shitty Job at explaining it ha. It just depends on what you want out of your grow

It’s sounds like splitting hairs but they accomplish very different goals,...but the end outcome is still weed

Yea I have done a little reading and sog is just a case of flowering a large number of freshly rooted clones. Might give that a shot next grow. Let's see how my scrogg turns out

That’s the best way to find out which way to grow that best suits you’re lifestyle. I wanted to try this scrog out bc I recently moved and had to downsize to a 4x4 tent. Grow boss really nails this topic on YouTube and might be able to save you some trial and error and headaches ha
