Can I use nutes w/Ocean forest

the guy @ the hydro store told me not to use nutes until flowering is this true

no the of is good for no nutes for 30 days unless u trans plant into new fresh of then u have another 30 days so it is poss to do it that way and not nute till flower i guess

i use this soil also and have no trouble not feeding for 30 days. my clones go for two weeks in this soil (veg) then two weeks in (flower) before feeding.

the OF can be a little hot for seedlings but have yet to hurt any. cant hurt to mix with more perlite at the early stage.

i was just at the hydro store today and asked the guy there about it and he told me that he always uses his veg'in nutes from day one but just in very small quantities. He said it helps the plant recognize the nutrients as a food source easier and they dont get used to just getting nutrients from the soil. He also said itd only be good for about ten days without any extra nutrients
