I live in the middle of nowhere and only have access to a general fertilizer at the moment, 19-24-24. My plants are huge and into the fourth week of flowering, is it okay to carry on ferting them with this mixture or are they going to revert back to vegetative or something? Any help thanks.

They dont even have to have fertilizer...if they look healthy just stick to water until you find the correct fertlizer if you must use it. Less is always better when dealing with marijuana. With that being said you are outdoors...in the ground correct not pots, it will allow you to make more mistakes and the results not be as drastic if you were growing in pots. With any fertz start off with small amount and graduallyincrease watching for indicators of plant reponse! LOL

dude, where did you get something like that? i want some........keep ferting with that, if you want to do something with it, add molasses......

the 19(N) will promote new growth while the 24(P)(K) will promote large, healthy bud growth. adding molasses will promote bud growth and THC production, gota love that natural sugar :D *1 tsp/gallon of molasses.

Good Luck, and Happy harvest!

That’s the thing, they where showing signs of huge N deficiency. For safety reasons I had to plant in a river bed with very sandy soil. It’s an hour hike so the three gallons of good soil I walked in are proving not enough for the plants. Its four weeks into flowering and all the big fan leaves had fallen off and the yellowing was moving to the smaller ones. Ferting has stopped this. I was just worried 19 is too much N for flowering and I would get leafy buds? Added some molasses to the water today. Things are looking good otherwise. Thanks for the advice. Harvest time is a looming!

Shit Dude....., you've got (maybe) a good spot. Soil is great, but has to be treated properly. Check list. Good drainage. Yes. River bed carried all the nutrients down stream. Long haul, & money's tight. Live between somewhere & nowhere, as I do. First concern is direct sunlight. Counting direct & ambient, are you getting sufficient sunlight. Next is an easy carry water retention product. Silt drains to fast. What you are looking for is something that nutrients & water will cling to... long enough for your root system to absorb. A 10 to 12 inch deep trench on the upside base of each plant, filled with cheap, lite-weight peat moss will gradually feed your plant. Your town has a local nursery, that's where you get peat moss & fish emulsion, and liquid seaweed would be cool, along with greensand. Dried cow shit will hold water, also, whatever. At your local Grocery store, get some molasses, & Epsom salt. The salt will provide the minerals needed. Ashes from a wood fire will help a lot. Good luck.

yea gorilla, thats what i was worried about with adding to much (N) duering flowering, but then i found out what mollasses did......it totaly makes up for the extra (N) bye making the buds like 20%~ larger. RoX

Happy Harvest!

Thanks corbat. I have administered the molasses and nutrients in the amounts you recommended. Waiting in anticipation. Double the bud size... sounds real good to me. Thanks
