Can Someone Help Me Out Here?

I want to preserve a weed leaf from my plant and just put it in between 2 pieces of glass and have it as a type of picture frame I guess. Anyone have any guidelines on how to successfully do this? Thanks for any help.

1) place the leaf between 2 pieces of glass
2) frame the glass

lol just hoping it wont dry out and look like crap. but i had a feeling thats all there was to it.

I have done this before and years later they still looked fine. What i did was, i used clear masking tape or box tape, whatever you want to call it and i carefully "lamenated" it like that.

17 years ago we were on a family trip and came across 25 acres of pot growing down a side road, turned out to be industrial hemp, a large sign said so, my 10 year old knew what it was and grabbed a handful of leaves for fun.

When he got home he took a picture frame took the picture out and put the leaf on the glass and slid the cardboard back in. Still have it and is still greenish, has faded.

not bad for 17 years and counting.

If I were to do it today I'd google drying and pressing flowers and see whats new.

lol nah it wont dry out if no air can get to it so just make sure its sealed well and it will last a very long time.

Yeah I did that before too;
I framed a bunch of leaves chained together and they are still nice and green=]
