CAN THE USE OF SMARTPOTS INCREASE PPM LEVELS??

I have just started messing with a new water tester for PPM. I grow in soil and i water, feed, water, feed etc etc I get runoff readings in the 2600 range. But when I look at the runoff water that i am sampling i can see dirt stirring around in there. I think that this dirt in this runoff water almost has to increase the PPM reading of a meter because its in the water. They are in the 4-5 week flowering phase and i want to make sure they have all the nutes they need now. I have always just went by my old methods and go with what the plant tells me and stick to the water feed water method. Everything is super healthy and massive. Should I just pitch this meter and stick to the old rules?

i was wondering what everyone else thought about it?
