Can there be to much wind?

I'm on Day 11 of 12/12 and I only see hairs on one of my plants. The others I can't see anything except little new leaves sprouting from all the nodes. Anyhow I trimmed the lower leaves because they didn't look too healthy and weren't getting very much light. Since the trimming I've notice quite a spurt in growth of new leaves. Anyhow my question is, now that my stems of my plants have thickend by quite a large amount I made my fan blow directly onto my plants. The plants don't bend too much, but some of the smaller branches do, will they be damaged, or will they just grow thicker and adapt? Another reason I am blowing the fan directly onto them is because of some of the heat damage to my leaves is pretty bad. Raising the lights isn't an option and if direct fan blowing doesn't help I might have to go SOG and put a screen over them to reduce height.

You can bend the plants a considerable degree to avoid the heat. You are only at day 11 of flowering. Don't expect to see flowers forming for just a little under two weeks. The plants will continue to stretch for three weeks. Then, at three weeks, the centers of the leaf clusters will start to turn yellow. They are very beautiful at that point. At four weeks, you will see some flowers forming. After four weeks, the buds will start to fill in the nodes (bare parts of the stems) and the colas will begin to form. At five to six weeks, the crystals will be gleaming and they will be nice and sticky. After that, the "hairs" (pistils) will start to turn orange or brown. At eight weeks, most Indica/Sativa crosses are ready to be taken down.

Have patients, Bro ... have patients. :)

Oh no, I didn't expect to see the sexes yet, I was mentioning that I can tell one of them is a girl. I was just wondering about the wind.

Having a gentle breeze blowing on the plants won't hurt at all. Just don't make it a storm. *lol*

Nope, I don't. Why ... do you suspect your plants are wind burned? I would think that you would have to have one hell of a fan to damage the plants short of breaking the stems.

Well I think they suffered from wind burn. Or something is wrong. Some of my leaves that look green with very little browning are slightly curling and becoming crunchy. My coloration problem is is going away, but now my problem is dry leaves. I water every 2-3 days and the soil is moist. Could my plants be not receiving enough light?

Hey Cheesta, I've had that same issue as well. However, I use CFL's. Also IF you use chemical ferts (like I did) then you would need to flush. Only IF you use them.
