Can thEy Tocuh this Shiz Nixzing

MY plants are set up under two fluro tubes and i cfl at the side, some of my plants are touching the fluorescent lights. IS this ok? I have learn't the hard way that cfl's burn leaves quick and easy but waht about fluoro it burns cool. Why do you gotta have cfl's 2 inches away to do any good?

IF you chaps won't reply i want u to know that four innocnet plants are awaiting your respsonse amidst the 10 to 4 in the morning and drunkness crisis.

Dont tend your plants when your drunk dude, stay the fuck away from them before you attempt something stupid like topping or something else. Other than that when you wake up and sober again, you keep them a matter of inches away because they dont produce high heat or intense light. So you need them up close for the plant to really make use of the light.

the actual lights wont burn the plants. it is the tiny ballast just like hids. easch light has a ballast. damn almost misspelled tha one, sure am high, anyways. each light has a tiny "ballast". just make sur the leaves dont touch the hot psrt of thr light and they will be fine. even a couple of inches from the light is fine!!! good luck mate

i'm working with both kinds of floros right now... and yeah, the cfls will burn if too close sometimes (some brands stay a lot cooler than others, it seems)... but i've never had a problem with the shoplight floro tubes... plants have touched them for days in a row with no damage... but that was just to see what would happen... try and give just a little =]

If you can tough it without burning, then so can the plant, but bear in mind that if it is constantly warm then it'll dehydrate quickly
