can u clone from fan leaf

can u clone for sex from just a fan leaf?

i know its best to leaf like 2-3 nodes on cutting but is it possible??

like a lower leaf from 3 week old plant...

truly... if u wanty a 100% successful clone id go with a regular cutting... clloning from a fan leaf is definately gambeling...not many ppl have a successful rooting proccess

im not nescessarily doing it, i just love to learn and when i find a subject that interests me....lol
i ask stupid questions just so i know the answer to other newbs questions.lol

not to mention what pushed it is i was thinkin about how u normally clip at least 2-3 fan leaves from every cutting for cloning. so if u could also turn those 3 fan leafs into even 1 more clone with a 1 out of 3 chance, that could dramatically improve your grow and yield while inflicting the same damage and growth pause to the mother and original cutting. same cut to the mother to take clone, same cuts on clone to clear fan leaves...

if u cant notice i guess i like to get my worth out of every little thing.lol

i personaly don't see how it would produce kind of yeild due to i have hnever seen a fan leaf bud.

you can get a fan leaf to root, I've done it.....but its all it does. It will not grow nodes, it will not bud, and it will not sex. All it does is sit there and look pretty for a couple of weeks then dies.

what it called a petiol bud or something .. i get a leaf bud once in a blue moonshine.. you need a node or shoot
