Can you clone a leaf?

Season is off right now and my plant is about 8-10 inches and is budding with a citrus peppermint smell. Almost like mango. I was curious if i could clone a plant while it is budding? And also can u clone a leaf? This is the only plant i got with no other seeds and I would like to keep this strain and great smelling budd in my possession but I think its too late. About a month more n it will b ripe. Cant wait to smoke it

i'm not an expert, but i believe as long as you get some nodes with the stem it should grow roots provided that you use some cloning solution and keep the humidity fairly high. for this reason i doubt a leaf can work. there needs to be a stem with some nodes (where the leaves grow from, and stems) to be successful. i also think you can still clone after it has flowered, as you can regenerate 2-3 times. good luck!

yep. pretty much. it will actually grow roots to sustain itself, but then do nothing else.

or you can try to grow the biggest ass fan leaf in the world. where's the guinness book judge when you need him.
