Can you put a humidifier right in dry room?

Or will the mist created get top close to buds?

My basement is 35% right now and want to lengthen dry time.

The room is 36x36x72

I did it about 3' or 4' below the buds in similar humidity and it seemed to work really well and slowed down drying and I went just right into a 3 month cure. Then in summer I didn't do it because humidity was 50 -60 so I didn't think I needed it, but for some reason it over dried in fewer days and I think I missed the cure.

But my closet isn't sealed and I messed with how open I cracked the door to keep it from getting too high. Definitely keep an eye on it and fiddle with the door or whatever

Good idea. My dry closet has a bit of natural circulation up through the ceiling. I'm thinking if your totally sealed, maybe a little fresh air flow or open door is in order to avoid mold.

It's been awhile man. If I want to add to the dry time I let them hang dry in whatever humidity is in the room. Typically like 20% or less. After 48-72 hrs, the outside is kinda crispy so I put them loosely in a tub with the lid either on all the way, slightly cracked, sitting on top, etc. to get the rh up so they take a couple extra days to fully dry out. Since the outside got crispy, they don't flatten and stay in full shape, but dry longer.

Yeah dude where ya been?

Im chopping today. Got the humidifier setup keeping the room at 55% RH. Sucks cause the closet I built out isnt big enough to fit all 4 plants. Gonna block the window in my computer room and hang them in there. Just wont be able to use the computer for a week. That will suck.

I've been doing my thing. This is really just a hobby for me anyway. I had a lot of success running rdwc, I just took down my 4x8 tent and am only working with my 4x4 because I grew a bunch and didn't need to keep going cycle after cycle. I've been breeding different strains and to be honest have been very disappointing for the last year or so with the results. Now that I got back my blue power, I've already crossed her with my cherry gorilla and am going to try a collidial silver run on her to see if I can get some pollen so I can lock in that DNA and not have to continue cloning forever. Your stuff looks great man, let me know how that 55% rh dry works out, I'll bet it will be great!
