So I had my seeds placed in freezer tried germinating about 4 of them none of them popped after 7 days. What would happen if I took them out and stored them some place else?

You didn't mention if you threw the seeds under 4 inches of earth, paper towel method, etc. for the 4 that didn't pop. Are the seeds 80 years old?

A little more info please.

I don’t use a freezer. I store mine in the fridge in a lunchbox inside a ziploc with rice. The lunch box helps prevent the temp swings of opening the door…if maybe you wanna try that next time. I’ve never had a problem

I store mine in a drawer unless its old old its fine long as there in a cool dark place people overthink it with storage imo cos unless where you live is pretty hot then id maybe think twice but i aint got that problem.

I think freezing one time is ok for most seeds but once thawed freezing them again will stop most if not all from germinating. :peace:

I keep mine in freezer bag, with Silicon Desiccant. A BUNCH of them, and then I put the freezer bags, in Tupperware, with more Desiccant.. I try and keep them 34f 37f.
I get 80%- 90% germination, at 10 years. If they were good seeds, with no issues, to begin with.

Kept in fridge in containers, get about 80 to 90 % strike rate on 10 plus year seeds ,if you value your collection, fridge is it
