Cardboard..

I'm a few weeks from harvest and whipped up a "What If"
I had to replace the radiator in my car and when I looked at the box it came in,
I had a light bulb moment.
Would that box (3 ft wide, 3 foot tall. and 6 inches deep) work for initial drying?

I would set up a rack up top.

Would a good hanging spot be had ??
I would have ventilation happnin'
:peace:
Just curious.

why yes yes you can but you will some sort of an airflow going thru it or the harvest will mold.. i have used a dishwasher box with a draw fan and holes on the other side of the fan on the bottom side.. use dowel rods for hanging..

Thanks man.
I guess I meant to ask if cardboard will affect the drying.
As in dropping the RH to low.
Kinda like a paper sack.

Hell yeah !

I use those large flat screen TV boxes. String wire through out the boxes. Perfect for large colas and cola clumps.

Works better then hang drying or rack drying.

I live in a dry climate ( Colo ) and this method has really improved my crop. As hang drying or rack drying dries them out way too fast.

I guess it depends on where you live though.

yes cardboard will drop rh thats why it takes less time in the box then in anything else but a dehumidifier
