Care to give my unexpected grow a look?

Hey I think you should definitely check out COB lights. You can always expand your set as needs require/finances allow. You're doing a great job with CFL so far and I'm sure you could rock it with t5s but don't overlook COBs they aren't hard at all to set up. Look into Citizen 1212s, don't concern yourself with Cree cxb3590s (because they are likely prohibitively expensive, the Citizens being a far better value).

Ohwow, this isnt priced too bad- I think im just a little nervous about having to set up exhaust and intake stuff. This is a really decent looking set, thanks for sharing!
that 400 watter will take your growing to places you never thought possible,, try not to get over whelmed with what to do,, some of us are pretty good at making things work on the cheap and easy,, honestly i gravitate towards simple and easy,, venting the closet wont be hard, especially if you dont need complete stealth, you could go with simple bathroom ceiling fans,, they sale at home depot or lowes, and use s light dimmer (cheap) to control the speed, mount it to a piece of wood,, position it at the top, so it blows the warmer air that sup top out and into the room,, if the room gets too warm because its summer,, get one of those window fans,, and blow the air out of your bedroom,, all store bought,, all on the cheap,, hope this helps

Man I ghosted this for a while! sorry about that- this post sent me into a whirlwind of research on humidity, airflow, negative pressure within the tent. oi vey! Since I don't have the serious lights yet, I gathered all the small fans I had and placed them around the tent. one placed right in front of the passive air intake I had to pull more air in, and a window fan pulling air out by the lower vent. This was the only set up that I tried that gave me that concaved tent I was hoping for. When I upgrade my light for my next grow I will try those fans you suggested. Stealth is definitely not a problem I need to worry about so that helps. Thanks for the input!

Still having humidity issues though, I put my girl into flower and I see pistils everywhere so I know I need to hurry tf up and figure out the humidity issue sooner rather than later. for now I open up the tent as soon as the lights kick on and I got a bunch of zeolite rocks in there (have no idea if this will help but I hed them so why not try it.

Dehumidifiers are surprisingly expensive!

Just an update for anyone who wants to know- My girl is in flower and doing well so far, I did do a bit of defoliating because the bush on this girl was out of control. (I didn't know about all the negative effects until after unfortunately, but I will know for next time) Two days after her haircut she is thriving and I have a bunch of bud sites! a little over a week ago I took some tiny cutting from the very bottom of the plant and decided to see if I could root them (my gf got a gel sample from the hydro store so why not?) out of 5 little babies- 3 have roots and are now planted and doing well and the other two are still looking alright in their jiffys. If nothing else I will have some more to grow after this harvest. WOOHOO having such a good time!

Everything looked so lush and beautiful when harvested and ended up looking like dirt weed after a 4 day dry lol.

There were a lot of amber trichs and the rest were milky/clear (70/30) I decided to harvest because of the ambers... I really didnt want a couchlock crop.

Im not thrilled, but the 44g is nearly completely devoid of stems so im hoping with a good cure Ive got at least somewhat decent smoke.

Anyone know if this jar is too packed for cure? It doesnt fill it completely.

Thanks for all the suggestions throughout!
