Caregiver application question

now when you send in the money are you automatically approved if not will the send your money back

Assuming your background check is ok you should be approved. I don't know what happens when you aren't, but I assume they send the check back.

Why the hell would they do that?
Even past convictions for stuff that would be legal if you had a card (such as past possession convictions) won't keep you from getting a card.
They aren't going to test you for drugs at all, but testing for mj makes no sense lol

Send separate checks for the caregiver fee and the background check fee. If you only send one check, you won't get back the caregiver fee if you do not pass the background check.

No. Actually the state receives no information about your patient. Just make sure you have a signed agreement with a patient to back it up if you are growing the plants.

Well, I'm not sure how much has changed over the last couple of years, and getting a call back from the HHS seems nearly impossible. Maybe I can turn to my fellow grows for answers.

My goal is to finish off building individual rooms that are lockable, for people to grow. None of these people will be caregivers. I just want to provide the place and the equipment for medical patients to grow, in a location that is centrally located in town. I should have enough space for 10-15 individuals, with independent, lockable, grow rooms (Veg+Bloom). Is this 100% legal in maine?

Also, if theses patients need help, what's the limit on how many patients I can be an employee of?

Talk to an attorney familiar with MMJ. Also, many towns in Maine have passed their own ordinances.

The grow rooms need to be separate with separate locks ideally they say and you can not charge rent as co ops are a no go.

I could use a couple copies of cards to up my numbers if anyone can help me out. I grow with castings only. don't really need sales just cards though have supply

yes, it is legal.

You can't really be the employee of a patient. That is called a caregiver, and they can be "employed" by 5 different patients, if you want to call it that.

A caregiver is allowed one employee. There is not a limit to the number of caregivers that An employee can work for, so I have been told.

There is a ban on caregiver co-ops.

There is not a ban on patient co-ops.

Ok, I'll go on to say..

The entire garden will be aquaponics. With that said, most people haven't experienced this growing method. Is it legal to teach them to use the type of equipment and/or fill-in when they can't make it to the garden on the daily, or if there's a problem that needs immediate attention, and possibly effecting everyone else's grow?

Just went through the same thing with my landlord. You do not need to have a "facility" per se, just an area to grow. You can use what you have now & expand as you want. They do not come out & check the facility out. Also, you can apply to be a caregiver with having no patients at all when you send in the application.
