CBD strains for anxiety and advice on life

Hi! New here and looking for some advise regarding the effects of pure cbd and cbd strains.

A little background first. 42 years old smoked on weekends between 18 and 35,on and off. Never been misusing, but unfortunately I've had some other problems. I was severely burned out five years ago due to work mainly, and ever since I've had problems with cannabis. Never when I smoke, it's as wonderful as ever, but the problems start five days after I've smoked. I get existential anxiety and feel really stressed, this can last up to two months. Its not crippling but it severely affects my life.

I still have a demanding type of work, management position and my friends tell me this is the main problem not cannabis, and that I should change to an easier career path. Ive not smoked at all this year but still I'm not feeling well so my gut feeling also starts to tell me the work is the root cause. As a matter of fact I've never wanted a career and I have nothing in common with people at work, I've always felt more comfortable with more easy going incomplex people. More honesty and loyalty..

Anyway I think I'm looking at changing career paths to get rid of the stress. I also would like to start smoking again. I would like to do it now, but I'm not sure I dare since I'm still stressed.

I was thinking about trying 1:1 cbd/thc since I would like some high but not the sides coming afterwards. Can a cbd rich strain help me with the stress I'm feeling or could it make it worse as ordinary cannabis does?

I only have one life and I want to start living it the way I want, a job well within my capacity so that there is room for fun stuff like smoking occasionally. I hope I haven't destroyed my mind so I can't smoke anymore. My friend had the same problem but it vanished when he got a better life situation and he could smoke again.

1.Either I try cbd/thc now or
2. I wait until I've change jobs and feel better and try cbd/thc
3. I accept that I can never smoke again

What do you think, I would really appreciate your inputs regarding this and also suggestions on strains that could possibly help me. I have no possibility to get cutting, just seeds.

I suggest you try the 1:1 cbd/Thc strains.I went through the same thing when smoking just THC strains,I almost gave up on cannabis because of the anxiety.Once I tried the CBD strains, everything changed!I am not a heavy smoker,I probably average 3 bowls in the evenings, and my anxiety is pretty much gone, all the time.

dude stress is a killer, it also effect the anxiety a little. I would continue to smoke after work for a bit. Might also wanna think of just getting a hobby you like doing while smoking. Me personally when i smoke, i like to draw, or sit in my grow room look over my plants a little, heck i even cook.

First of all things is breathe, take a deep breath in and exhale and breath out do it a few times, let your body relax a little.

I always tell me people first, seek a professional to let you vent sometimes they may have a good idea for you, or some valuable info to help with coping skillz. Or even better think about going out into a field in the middle, and scream your head off.

look for a thc/cbd combo for a smoke.

I had anxiety pretty bad myself smoking really doesn't effect it one way or another. I was on xanax for it but that doctor retired and new one would not prescribe it. Its might sound crazy but I stumbled upon a garden weed that works as good or better. It's called purslane, I put it in salads or on sandwiches. Makes me a bit tired after I eat it. It contains melatonin, but it works great for me. Do a quick online search on it tons of info!! Anxiety Sucks!!!

I really like Boaty Mcboatface strain, it isn’t the best tasting by far. It has that earthy tone but really helped with my ankle pain.
