26 days flower so far. She smells unreal. so sweet mm, you just feel like "oh god yes" every time you smell those buds. The pistils have a color to them, at first I looked and saw what I thought were receding hairs and thought something horribly wrong was going on. After a closer look though I saw that the pistils are almost pink. In the pic they don't look very pink though. She also has very nice resin production. The resin started quite early and is going to be very good in the end I think.

Here's a shot at her pistils, and a shot of her in her little spot among the raspberries.

I started a journal a long time ago and never kept it up... I read your first lines again to refresh... I'm dealing with a lot of anxiety from an accident that I got TBI and PTSD. I've been making soup lately and found my old way of making cannabis pills is quite a lot stronger and uses a lot less. I have a feeling taking edibles may help you more with your health situation. Just guessing on this, but I think edible may chill you out better than smoking it. The trick is getting the right amount in so it's not too strong or weak...

I vaporize my herb - then powderize, then vaporize lightly again to get the herb heated well enough, then powderize in an Ultimate Chopper, then put into gelatin caps.
Six to eight caplets medicates me real well for about 8 to 10 hours. More than eight caplets is a bit too much for my average day - not trying to get all stoned out, just make it so I can cruise throught the day easier...

Good luck on your buds!

hey thanks man. Edibles are hard for me to eat because my stomach is so bad that I can't eat butter. is there a good way to make it without butter? Man i had like two weeks of smoking where i was okay and then yesterday my anxiety just went through the roof suddenly. That anxiety has lasted until this morning too. how do you make the capsules? can u link me

Subbed. Great grow so far. Another option to replace the butter in recipes for edibles is to infuse coconut oil and use it in the recipe instead of butter.

oh right, coconut oil. i drink coconut water all the time. I was actually just looking that up yesterday. gonna have to try that. the grow i did before this was just seeds from a friend, some of the worst weed i have ever grown or smoked in my life. I did everything right but those plants were just crap. this one now is going so good though. These buds smells amazing, i just put them out for the day, Theyre big enough that i had to cart them out in a wheelbarrow and all i smelled the hole time was delicious sweet goodness

This thread caught my attention because i am very interested in growing CBD strains for a few people who have health issues and they dont like the heavy high feeling of the higher THC strains. Love the anti inflammatory benefits of CBD's.

Haven't updated in a while. Ran into lots of problems here. Lots of flooding, house humidity was way up. Aphid infestation happened, also had a green worm infestation. right in the buds. Looks like this ones basically a salvage case at best.

Not sure if the bud will be usable, the aphids left their sugar droppings all over the leaves and there were some powdery mold spots here and there. There was also some rotten bud where the worms had caccooned and eat them plant.

Well my therapy is seemingly okay now. The ladybugs have cleaned up the aphids, the humidity is under control and there is no more worms or rotting anywhere. Not sure if it's usuable at this point or not. the plants themselves though are doing very well though. looking nice and thriving

Hi sunandsky,
I'm the guy you find with an other CBD therapy journal published on 420magazine website (and I found yours today). There is also an other guy growing this strain on this site. Hoping everything is OK for you and your plants. Just to let you know about this recent update done by CBD crew, reporting that CBD levels of this strain may vary from one seed to another and possibly higher than the 0.35 % claimed:
August 2016 update: After the testimonial from growers and patients, the CBD Crew stated that some seeds did not produce high CBD plants in relation with the THC content. After a new test, they checked that 50-75% of CBD Therapy plants had very low THC content, while 25-50% had slightly higher THC content, especially when grown indoors.

No seeds produce plants with more THC than CBD, but the CBD:THC ratio can vary from 20:1 to 2:1. Thus, every CBD Therapy pack of seeds should contain at least one high CBD/low THC phenotype. It is then recommended to perform cannabinoid analysis to select to most useful plant.

Best

CBD is awesome, it should help quite a bit with your issues. Take a minute and see if any of these things might be messing you up as well.

You can always do an extraction on the harvested flowers and run the ethanol through filters to clean it up. :) As long as no insecticides/organicides were used, you'll be fine. :)

hmm interesting. I am okay with a 2:1 ratio. Is it a difficult or annoying process to get your bud tested by a lab?
Hi Sunandsky,
Testing/titrating the buds is not in my plan. I have already tested them using a vaporizer, the effect is very mild and pleasant (as well as the taste). I guess the seed I have germinated (only one and I did cuttings from it) is in the range initially claimed.
Cheers

So I am 100% sure now those areas that had worms were dying because the worms were eating it, this also caused those areas to mold a bit. All of those buds were cut out long ago and I have not had any problems since I put the ladybugs in there. I found a few more spots where cacoons were made but not many. damage doesn't seem as bad now as i thought. Should still be able to pull a harvest.

Cut down a few branches yesetdray to hang. mostly cloudy trichs. In a few days I'll check for more amber and then I'll mark them all when i go to jar them and I'll have a good range of buds that were cut from cloudy to 50% amber trichs. Not sure how to go about peak ripeness with cbd strains.

Question never smoke a high CBD strain what effects does the CBD high like.
My first high CBD was harlequin. Smoked a big fat bowl and within a few short minutes my back started hurting. Became really intense for about 5 or 6 minutes. Suddenly my spine popped into place and a huge load of pain went away. lol

Relaxed a lot of pent up muscle tension. :) I use mainly moderate THC:CBD strains now. Love em so far. :)
