CFL flowering

Hey everyone....
i was wondering what results you guys have produced by flowering with out an HID and only using cfl. im asking this because at the moment i can not afford the proper HPS so i am most lickley going to flower with CFLS. will i get some good buds if i use about 320 watts?

With a hps you will grow larger buds and get a bigger yield. That's about the only dif. I use cfls and I can't compete with a hps as far as yield goes, but I can grow equal quality.

well i know that the secret of HPS is that the light penetrates more.... If i use a lot of lights all around a plant instead of just above could i grow at least 70 grams from 300 wats?

is it possible to get like 1 gram per 3.5 watts with cfls

Mostly fluffy light buds is what I got, then I moved up to HPS. The lord parted the skies and the sun shone upon me.
You can get about .5 gram per ACTUAL watt of CFL. DO NOT use the "Equivalency" wattage to figure out how many watts you are using, you use the ACTUAL wattage used. Those little CFL's use about 6 watts, the bigger ones use 40-50. Although they say on the package that the little ones are like a 100 watt bulb and the big ones are like a 300 watt bulb thats not what you go by.

Well considering that an 85 watt cfl costs $25 and your going to need about 5 of them to grow a single plant well there is $125, you can get a cheap HPS for the same amount. Yeah bro, you could just steal some CFL's from the store lol JK don't do that. Go to walmart or something and buy those cheap ass china products that should last you good for now... CFL's there cost like 6-10$ for a 40-60 watt
