I have one dank plant that has been growing just over a month with
2 14w/60w output cfls. the pictures are attached and each light is about 3 inches away from plant. watering according to wetness of finger length down in soil. well ventilated with computer exhaust and intake fans. the entire plant is about 2" tall and 2" across both ways. the first pair of the 3 leafed marijuana leafs are present, and also a pair of the 5 leafed marijuana leafs. and another small set is growing from the top. there are also hairs near the small branches that look to be signs of female.

any suggestions?
-should I add another cfl. if so how many?
-should I move the lights closer to the plants?

Buy some 42 watt CFL's and put them on her she'll start to sky rocket! The more light the better and you can never over do it except for the heat factor. You want the lights 1-2 inches away PEACE.

Your not going to e able to see what the sex is of that plant. It is too small. You will probably not see anything untill a couple weeks into flowering. Mine are a month old and have been in the flowering room for about 6 days and i cant tell anything yet. But yea, get more lights. Looking good so far.

what type of plant do you think this will turn out to be indica or sativa?
dude, its too early to tell... but typically indicas have very broad 5 leaf fans and sativas have skinnier 7-9 leaf fans.
and upgrade your lights, atleast pick up a 2 pack of 6500k 26ers for $6 from the huge corporation we all love and hate, wal's mart.

Everything looks fine, growth will be slow as the roots try to fill the pot. Again as mentioned pick up some blue spectrum cfls that are high wattage.

anyways, buy a 125 watt cfl purple'd color... and do veg and flower with that light... only cost 70 dollars..... and the e40 cost 1 dollars the cables 3 dollars..... 75 dollars about....

juss picked up 2 120 watt cfl's and put them on the plants. I also have one 150 watt hps light that i bought a few months ago, and eventually will use for flowering. What are some ballasts i can buy because i bought a small one that connects into a light socket that says supports up to 150 watts, and it did not work.
