Cfl Grow. Yellow Tips Of Leafs,no Nutes. Just Mircle Grow.

CAN SOMEONE HELP ME OUT? I BEEN GROWING FOR ABOUT A MONTH AN A HALF. AND I PUT THEM INTO FLOWERING. DAY 3 OF FLOWERING. BUT THE TIPS OF MY LEAFS ARE TURNING YELLOWISH BROWNISH. SO IF YOU GOT ANY INFO. PLZ HELP ME OUT.

only water when the soil is completly dry. then water until you see some run off coming through the drain holes.

Allright. Sounds Good. Cuz Whenever I Go To Water. The Top Of The Soil Is Still Wet. Idk. Maybe Im Over Watering. But Would Think Mess Up The Flowering Cycle?

Overwatering doesn't generally cause yellow tips on the leaves. You can tell an overwatered plant because the leaves droop down like an umbrella. It's possible it's a nute issue, i.e. too much. I know cause I just did this on my grow, and within a couple of days had burnt tips.

Overwatering won't mess up the flowering cycle because that is controlled by the lighting schedule, not how much water you're giving the plant. I mean, you CAN kill a plant by watering it every day, but just make sure the dirt is dry down 2 to 3 inches in the soil, then water.

you need to do some reading, I understand that you have a problem you would like to have fixed right now, but going off in all caps lock asking questions that have been answered dozens if not hundreds of times already elsewhere in the forums wont usually win you any friends or help

alright i think i can help after u answer these simple questions, what is the ph of your soil or runoff, what nutes are u using and at what strength, what lights are u using and at what distance, what is room temp and humidity what is the temp at the tallest top of any plant. i will try and help when u give me these specs good luck

well. i am not using no nutes. i have my 30 watt cfls about 2 inches away from the plants. and i have 3 cfls. and one 2 foot flouresent. and my bad about using all caps. i do it cuz my msn is all fucked up.

and the ph. i have no clue about. cuz its my first grow and i didnt have enough money to spend on ph and temp gauges. but there about 19 inches and i put them into flower allready.

maybe not enought light for the flowering cycle.also the light should be in red spectrum.why don't you buy a small wattage HPS. It will activate the hormones in your plant like no other

well the problem is the electricity bill. and well my cfls work tho to flower them?

but the HPS comes in all shapes - from 70 to 1000W.i believe that your CFLs are around 70-80 watt. am i right?

well there 130 watts. true wattage is 2 25 and 1 30. the 2 25's are putting out 1850 lumens each and my 30 watt is putting out 2050 lumens. idk my homie has a 400 watt hps but i dont have the money to get a balist, how ever you spell it.

or get CFLs with the redish spectrum.dunno man i've never used a CFLs, i'm in first grow operation, use 250W HPS and the growth is more than descent.check my thread in the signature if you want

i think that 150 wats HPS will be very useful in your situation.check e-bay.they have good prices i guess.
