CFL Grow Yield Guesstimate

Hello everyone,

I'm on week 2 of flowering of my first grow and so far I'm very content with the way things have been going.

Even at this stage, the anticipation of results are strong and very thrilling.

I started very small and ignorant, tried to expand little by little along the way, and this I owe to the lovely community of RIU.

My setup as of now is 300 total wattage of light, mostly CFL with mixed spectrum and some led strips.

I grow in soil in a 5 liter pot.

Applied heavy LST to the plant.

Below is the latest picture of the plant. Judging by all of the information, how much do you think the yield will be? And what do you think I can do to improve the process?

Any advice would be much appreciated!

Thanks in advance and happy growing!20170421_055549.jpg20170421_055342.jpg

Maybe an ounce
If you want more yield you'll want to look at bigger lights and a bigger pot. You'd be better off using a 250w HPS than 300w of CFL's if you'd like to stay at that wattage and heat output.

300wats of cfl's? that's hightly doubtful mate, you need at least 20cfl bulbs to get to that point and in different ranges for flowering????

so highly doubtful part is the number of bulbs? hmm, no, quite doable. I have 2 6400K and the rest is 2700K. Most of them are 30W.

ummm usually 6400k are 26watts, and you 2700k are usually 14 to 13wats? soo?

Alright man, apparently someone cheated.
someone might have dude, cause normally 2700k is the lowest wattage of bulb, now I have seen some that are 30watt but they are 120wat incondesant, is that what those are?

actually it says it's 150W equivalent.

So what do you think the yield will be? bongsmilie

2 week, and you still have another 6 to 8 weeks...might push 3 to 4 wet, 1.5oz dry

honestly I would have let it veg more, that would have help a little more in you lst to fill the pot, then you might have hit 2 oz dry.

Time will tell mostly and how well you take care of the plant

looks good btw

Thanks man, that's a motivating post. I was concerned about the head space of the box when I flipped. I've got two clones going now tho, one is gonna be the mommy, the other I'm starting to think about putting into flower now.

My second biggest fear was (first being the adequate lighting) being limited by the grow medium. How big do you think I should go in a 5 liter pot?

Light is light...is my basic rule

grow medium is second

Seems for the tent or space you have you have plenty of light for the flowering portion of what your doing. Now I would think of another space for a veg tent, cause that's where you wanna keep the mommy and little ones in, till it till it time time to move them into the flowering area.

5ltr pot are good for the final flowering area, think of the idea of potting up for the root system. Clones go into a small pot, once established, then move to a bigger one, then move to the 5ltr ones for the flowering..k

also with cfl light sometimes the actual flowering time is extended, so beware, when on plant says 8 to 10 weeks, with cfl it might go longer 11 to 12 weeks just cause

so far so good

happy growing

Also, everyone, this is bagseed and I remember the guy telling me that it's skunk. What can you tell me about the strain? Is it indica dominant?
