Hey thanks for stopping by. Glad to always see a new face! Looks to be doing pretty well. First time growing? Ever thought of adding more light when going into flower? Any more info on your grow? Like the kind of cfls, the strain, space, soil.

OK first thank you for taking time out your day to reply.
So the soil regular I dug it up from outside and threw it in a pot.
This is my first grow but I done a little research before jumping in head first.
I have two cfls 23 wattage daylight for veg and I was going to switch to warm light for flowering and they are 23 wattage, see I messed up because it said 100 watt equivalent and I missed the 23 actual label.
And these are regular bag seeds
And I built a grow box out of foam board lol don't laugh

Its no problem. Hey man aint no one guna laugh at that. Fr. See ya did a decent job on your grow space for starting out.. Be something to be proud of. Yeah.. Cfls and led lights are notorious for using equivilent watts for sales pitching. Even the the grow lights on amazon. It's good to go with actual watts when referring to your space for sure.
I c u know about the different spectrums for the lights as well. Awesome!
Ok your pot is ok for other plants.. But its gotsta gewww (gotta go) lol
Is it them clay pots? What sux about them is there isnt anu drainage holes for watering and for the roots to breathe.
Have you done any research on soil? Wana make sure to aeriate the soil if possible. Perlite is perfect! So its nice and fluffy and doesn't lead to overwatering and plant issues due to a cpl of things like root rot. Can always uppot to a bigger pot and some good soil
What are your goals for the grow?

Thank you and yes I had to make sure it was enough for future growth whatever that will be lol.
And I just brought a plastic pot with three holes in the bottom that I have to switch it too so thank you so much for reminding me.
And I'll definitely head out when I get paid to upgrade my soiling situation and lights.
And my goal for this plant is to keep it short and stocky, and flower it at the earliest I can, and I have no clue on the earliest I can start the 12/12 flowering, but now I have it on 19hrs light 5 darkness

I use fox farm ocean forest. When you upot to a good soil u dont really even need to feed until like a month in. Did u get a 3gal or 5 gal pot?
U can do 12/12 from seed :) u can veg for 2 weeks. 8 weeks.. U name it. Dealers choice really.. If you wana continue cfl id use atleast 8 of those 23w cfls. Hell u can even use the led bulbs and cut the difusser off. If you r just doing that 1 plant, rule of thumb for cfls flowering id say 40-60watts a square foot. So 1 plant.. Say 2x2 feet. 4 sq feet 180w-220w actual watts will get u Decent held
But if u use led 30-45w. A sq foot would be really efficient u can even still use them daylight cfls in flower but use more soft or warm white bulbs

Can't do much topping to get more bud sites atm. She hasnt matured fully yet.
But switching to 12 12 will forcebit to flower. Takes about 10 days for preflowers but when she does.. Tie back your cola or supercrop it when it gets to that point

Wow you just said a mouth full lol you really know your stuff glad I found these forums, so I'll get a few more cfls and the pot I got is 5.
And if I wanted to start the flowering now how much do you think I would get from this baby plant lolIMG_20171017_205931.jpg

It won't flower untill its sexually mature, 3-6 weeks from sprout.

Yield is tricky, it depends on just about everything.

0.3 - 0.5 grams per actual watt of cfl seems to be the normal for most, eg (100 actual watts of cfl = 30-50 grams of dry bud)
