cfl help

I was wondering what I would need to vegg about 15 plants in a 4x4 space just for a month or two till spring like what kind of bulbs wattage lumins and Kelvin

i'd have to do research to remember how many but out of curiosity why cfl's?

IV been looking and now I'm thinking about just going with a hid I just wanted to have something for vegg so my plants would have a head start for spring

I gotcha, yeah i would go with a hid because from what i understand the pros of cfl's really diminish once you get to many

In HID a 600w should do, since it's just veg a 400w could prolly cut it too but i think they're both basically similiar pricing so really depends on your worry on heat

I'm not really worried about heat do u know how much light they will need I don't want them to do a vegg bloom vegg when they are put outside

I only do indoor so I can't really say on how that will work bringing it outdoor. But indoor when vegging the typical is 18 lights on/6 lights off or you can go 20/4 or 24/0(for veg, when you flower you got to 12/12). While indoor just dont let it get to 12/12
