Heres my grow, its 21 days into flowering. I vegged for about 3 weeks. It was just transplanted into a 5 gallon bucket from a 1 gallon. Also just started using the fox farm fertilizer Open Sesame. And the store gave me the ferts. Beastie Bloomz for mid-flowering stage and Cha-Ching for late-flowering.I am using a 70 watt hps, 3- 45 watt CFL(150 watt) and 1- 25 watt CFL (100 watt). I have another 70 watt hps i can use but have not put up yet bc it would be a big hassle. But i should get it up later on. The clay balls are only on the top,FYI. Advice and comments....

Is that why the leaves are curled down??? but the ones that are curled down are the top ones and the more they get bigger they straighten out and look like the other ones. Or is it still overwatered. and what tells you its overwatered? Anything else you notice.

also i will add new pics in a day or two showing the amount of growth of a root bound plant transplanted into a bigger pots and started using fox farm fertilizer... im sure there will be a noticable difference in a couple days.

Looks pretty good, but looks like you are overwatering slightly and possible heat stress at the top of the plant. Nothing too serious though.

Good job and good luck.

leaves that fold up like a taco or down, and sometimes clawing. I htink your main problem is overwatering though. Heat stress may not be real. Fix the watering first and leave your lights the same and see if the leaves flatten out.

Yea thats exactly what they were doing. Folding like a taco down. I'll post pictures soon. Just letting most of that water dry up and should really bloom bc i just also added another 70 watt hps and it just started some real good ferts.

I see the red on some of the stems in the pic. I have this same thing going on with a couple of mine. Is the red from a phosphorus deficiency? If so, would treating it help the old growth, or just the new?

Im not sure why the stems turn red. May be from temps changing overnight but mine only drops about 10 degrees. Anyone else know what red stems are from. I dont think its a big problem... but maybe im wrong.

I think that the red stems depend on the strain, some are green, some are red, some are purple. Mine are purple because I'm growing Blueberry, and some of the leaves are already turning purple.

Marijuana Seeds Search Garden is a good site that shows what different problems are caused by different chemicals. Click on the "plant abuse" link on the right top of the page under "troubleshooting".
