I recieved some free Cfl's from my step-dad but they are soft-white and the kelvin rating says 3000-3500K. I know the warm white's are at 2700K. Can i still use these to flower with? I have like 6 of em.

Yes, you can, I'd suggest getting some red cfls to help boost your red spectrum. But, shyt, who can beat free, throw them in there.

Yes she's right they aren't the ideal spectrum but they're still light that emit lumens; you can flower with them

Thanks a bunch guys/girls. It's just that i can't find the "2700K" anywhere but online and i don't have a credit card. I've tried Lowe's and Walmart. Guess i'll try Home Depot next.

They've got them, they just don't say the spectm. Get the true 40 watt cfls. (Not 40 watt "equivilant") All the true 40 and 42 watt cfls are the right spectrum for flowering.
