ok well i got 15 office lights from a droped celing tile setup. each setup holds 4 4ft blubs. now we figure we can use 2 of them & make 1. witch means each fixture will have 8 bulds 4ft long. lights.
the bulsb are daylight deluxe
2300lumes
40watt
84color rendering
6500k
so that will be a total of 320watts & 18,400lumens per fixture. we only want to make 3 of these setup
now lets say i go buy a 400 watt mh bulb will that be more effective than 3 of these setups?
3 setups will give 960watts 5520 lumens.
now on another note these are for mothers, clones, 2-3 weeks veg only. have 600hps for flowering.
we can also put these in the flower room with 3500k lights for side lighting as well. or would we be better off with another 600hps light.?
thinking about using 6500 & 3500 bulbs in the flower room 2 fixtures with 4 of each, what u think?

now we currently have in our mother clone ect... room a 4 4ft t5 setup. i know they put out 5000lumens each bulb so thats 20000lumes. obviously way more value thier per bulb. so is it a waist of time using these free crap & making them work or from your guyses experience the t5 totaly outperforms all the other cfl typ of lights. cause we want what works best. & produces more.
sorry its long but we like knowledge.
