would it be okay if I change nutes?? I am currently using the seni grow A nd B but it makes my ph too high.. I have the flora series and would like to try that instead. But I also want to know if I can just use the 3 part flora series from start to finish or do I need another nute for blooming to harvest.??? If I do need some other nutes, would someone care to recommend me some.. thank you... I'm thinking of changing nutes on next water change.

I'm also almost out of the sensi grow and my plants are still small.. I did try the flora on one of the clone I got yesterday and it looks good on it.

Hey dude ..... there are many nutes lines you can switch to ... i like the FloraNova line by GH ... it has one bottle grow and one bottle bloom. You can use the bloom only from start to finish as it has plenty of N for the plants geow phase ..... its not the best and only option but its a pretty darn good one to consider

Check out my current TriStrain grow:

Dont buy GH for hydro try green planet nutrients for hrdro iv been useing the full line. For dirt i like to use humbolt county owns. And go easy with them start off weak then go higher

Im doing dwc.. been using sensi grow with tap water of ppm 85 and ph 8.3.. try ph down to 6.. right now my plants most of them just looked to start re rooting.. they are about 1 foot tall only and has been in there for 2 weeks from some bad clones. I am running out of sensi grow and my tanks look dirty from the clay pellets.. im wi dering of changing nutes to the flora series.. since i already have them.. i just want to know if that would make any major impact on my plants and also if i can just use those 3 from veg to harvest if i wanted to or i must get another nute for flowering....

If you used Hydroton, you need to prewash it before using it. You will end up with orange mud on the bottom of your res and it will stain your roots as well. If your res is nasty, change it. Changing your res or nute brands wont hurt anything as long as you use the nutes on a lighter mix than what the packaging says to use. They are all higher than what they need to be to make you use/buy more. My advice is simplicity for novice growers. Find basics and work with them til you get a feel for what the plants want. I'd just get some Foxfarm "Grow Big" Hydroponic formula and use it half strength through veg. For flowering add Humboldt's "Ginormous" at approx 4-6ml per gallon of water at a 5.4 pH and decrease (but still use) N on the flower period. Always add nutes first to water, then pH it once you have the ppm range you want. If you are using tap water then your ph will likely creep up allowing your nutes to be drawn up in a full spectrum from the pH swing up. Dont let the pH get above 6.2. In hydroponics I run lower ppms on my nutes. For example, I rarely exceed 500ppm at my highest nute strength.

Should not make a diff switching over. Start out at half for a week then 3/4. Try useing up what you have. I really Like AN base for veg and bloom. Try massive for a bud bulker and finnisher for a cleaner smoke by GPN

Dont use FF because its cheap? How would you think this helps a bit? Care to elaborate why not to use it other than its cheap? I use exactly what I suggested for him to use and have been doing it for years & I never had any issues with it being cheap.
Works perfect for me.......

so you guys recommend not to use GH flora stuff?? that's what I was gonna switch to since I already bought those before I started growing but found out I still have the AN bloom left over so I went and bought the AN sensi grow. It just doesn't work as good on tap water I guess.. I watch the youtube of them using it on different ph water and it stabilize the ph at around 5.5, but my ph is at 7or 8. Hmm maybe I just stick to sensi 2 part and just flower soon. I use clay pellets and washed them several times but still dirty as hell..Thanks all

Don't really need additives but if you gotta pick the general consensus is that calmag and liquid karma are both top notch. Otherwise floranova at between 5 - 8ml per gallon is really enough to take you from seed to chop
