wat are some links for cheap odor controllers. I bought a small carbon filter that is an accesory for a common household air purifier. It was about fifteem bucks and it works but its small and only allows for a small area of ventilation. Any thoughts on bigger , cheap!, odor controllers?

We have a dog at my house that likes to crap in the corner of a room, so we put one of these in that corner for when he does and we don't notice right away...You can still smell it. From what I understand the name of the game is to neutralize rather than mask. Videoman made a great post on how to make a homemade device that costs around $30. I'm no expert but it sounds like it would work well, plus it was posted by videoman...enough said haha.

You can't beat the price of video's diy method above. I am going to try it but not for any smell coming from my grow room. Sounds like a good and cheap alternative to these Glade plugin things too. I want my entire house to smell fresh. Have lots of indoor pets wonder if this would work with Pet Zyme as the liquid?

Mogie, I am not sure, but I have heard of people building this and placing it in the corner of the living room, to help with pets. It does work. Try it with your Pet Zyme, and you can tell us.

I've actually made two different variations of Videoman's ona bucket... one is simply a three gallon bucket with a small fan attached to the lid, and holes drilled into the sides. Nobody where I live carries Ona liquid OR Soil Moist, but many places do carry the Ona block. My local hydro shop happened to have them for 50% off, so I got several. I just place an open Ona block inside of the bucket and shut the lid. It works quite well.
I also built another which forgoes the bucket entirely. I cut a hole in the lid of an Ona block, mounted a small CPU fan onto it, and melted some other holes around it to draw air in. This also works pretty well, but I don't have a flowering grow yet, so only time will tell how good that method works with plants. It's great in my kitchen, bathroom, and living room though.
