Cheapest grow Round 2

And ... there up. Day 50. Getting very frosty.
Wow! Your not joking there. They look spectacular! That is definitely some great looking smoke. It looks like a couple of the shorter ones are getting really close. The plant that is the last picture however, will be taking more time. If you wait until that one is cloudy the others should be pretty amber.
I am so impressed at how well these lights do. Makes me very happy I decided to go LED. Gonna have some good weight there as well. With almost 300 true watts you should be able to get anywhere from 6 to 8 ounces.
Just did a big photo opp with my girl. Gonna go update my journal.
Happy growing.:)

Thanks much. I am not so optimistic about the yield I might end up with but I feel confident I should pull 4 zips. I still have to decide which one I will take the longest to have an abundance of amber trichs so my wife can see what couch lock is really like. I still think the last one is a high CBD strain, but it probably will need longer for sure, still way too many white hairs. These plants were flipped just as I installed the new lights, so they did well in veg under my 38W LED.

Looking great in there Zoic, nice harvest coming up :) Don't worry about yields at this point, just getting a plant to finish and keeping it healthy/green is a good focus when starting out. The yields will come later, this run will produce many times more than your first, that's a great improvement right there.

I really like this; you learn a lot more when you are not worried about buying high-end stuff. just drive in and sink or swim.

this way when you do get nicer stuff you can see its effects and how to make the most of it.

I think you're on to something here, I can see $80(or less) dollar grows, while it might be a waste of time. I think it might be fun.

I totally agree. No matter what hobby you're into, advertisers and magazines cram the "BEST AND NEWEST" stuff in our faces!! Im always amazed with the micro grows and what people pull from small "simple" grows!! It just goes to show you don't need 1000W lamps to pull decent yields, especially if it's for personal.

Up until the grow I have going now. I've always used (2) 320 watt MH crystal clear bulbs for veg, and 1000 watt HPS for flower. It's probably a little over kill for 3 ladies. But in flower they love the donkey dick glowing above them. This grow is my first real LED grow. I vegged with 150 watt panel I got from work. And then switched to 310 true watts 4 cob light. But it's 5000k. And I just don't think it will dense the buds up and make any weight. So I'm debating on running (2) 400 watt HPS or one 1000 watt hps. I have an auto flowering in my veg tent right now. Gonna see how it flowers under the 310 watt 5000k. If it does decent I might flower the other I have in there with it. And the fact that I have zero dollars in my lights makes it nice. If it flowers good. If not I got a veg light that rocks.

You don't need the most expensive lights, nutes, tents, and all that jazz to produce quality herb. I mean it helps some. But if it's just for personal then I just don't see a reason to spend thousands of dollars.

They look great man. Curious as to what you pull. They really came around in flower.

Looks like my cannabis is not the only plant flowering here. Stargazer Lily- Day 1 in flower, LOL.

Very beautiful! I love those Stargazer Lily's. No bud pics this week hu? Couple of them must be about ready to harvest. Just posted week 5 pics in my journal. https://www.rollitup.org/t/mother-of-berry-scrog-update.943217/page-2
Starting to really blow out. I started decreasing the light by 15 minutes each day until I am down to 10. Have to move soon and she needs to hurry. Did you notice your plants quickening when you went to 10 hours. They say you won't yield as much but, at this point I just need her to finish.

On Day 60 I put the 2nd plant from the right into the drying cupboard with a yard waste bag over top of it and left it in the dark, still in the soil, like that for 3 days. I trimmed most of the leaves, then I cut it near the base and hung it in same cupboard to dry. Final pics of that one.
