Check my plan?

I want to start a small grow. I'm thinking about 2 plants flowering. I want to use two buckets with constant drip and 1, 600 hps, over each plant, for flowering.

What do you think of using buckets and 600's, and what bulbs do you recommend for vegging? Thanks?

1600 watts a plant? Bro you better do some more reading lol. 100watt a plant is all you will need.
Maybe you should just stick to growing mushrooms.
600+600=1200. 100w a plant isn't all you need. That's just stupid, I do 1 plant with a 400w and I wish I had more light. For veg use metal halide. One 600w is enough for 2 plants.
Maybe you shouldn't give advice.

I thought he meant one 600W, then I read "over each plant" so I'm not sure whhat he's talking about.

A 600 is plenty for 2 plants, you can grow 'em big. Metal halide for veg and HPS for flower is suggested, but you can grow with just one if you have to.

So it is stupid to ignore the tried tested and true golden rule of 100watts a plant? ok. You have good results with 400watt a plant good for you. His post as far as I can tell he asked if 1600 watts a plant is good but now I see the " ," so now it makes more sense at 600watt a plant but even still thats way overkill and most likely he will bleach the piss out of his plants. Don't troll me dude If these people would be more clear when they ask questions than there would be less confusion.
the 100 watt rule is rock bottom minimal

600 watts+2 plants+no reading= Dead Plants

Buy 1 light, use the money that you save to buy all the other shit you will need

fans
food
thermometers
timers
cords
airstones
airpump
buckets
hoses
PH METER
EC meter
ph down
pesticides
H2O2
CalMag
Hygrozyme
Res Chiller

You do not have to buy all these things, this is just a list of the shit I bought.

It makes more sense to me to calculate your light on an area basis, like so much per square foot.

600 watts on a small plant in a small container probably overkill. But 600W on a plant thats been trained out to cover like a 3' x 3' area it would be perfect. "X watts per plant" is kind of vague and meaningless unless you know the footprint of the plant's foliage.

So you come on here wasting peoples time trying to sell your bs book? Here's an idea for ya.
Why don't you try shitting in the floor and headbutting it. That should keep your simple ass busy for at least a cpl hours.
