Hey guys.:-P

i have a few chili peppers this year going in pots outside.

My first year with the peppers and I just tried my first jalapeno and WOW... it's HOT!:fire:

So,

I'm going to have a lot of extra chili peppers to use.

I'm wondering what you guys are using your peppers in, and if you can share some recipes.

I found some recipes on google I can try, but I'd like to get some background on why people use certain things so I can get my own recipe going :-P

I love salsa, and maybe I want to grill up some jalapeno cheeseburgers :weed:

i almost eat peppers with everything. one type or another depending on the desired affect. i pickle, freeze, dry, grind, puree, eat fresh, grill, you name it :)
when the tomatoes come in its salsa time yummin!!!! nothing i mean nothing like fresh made salsa from fresh ingredients from the garden. i really dont have a recipee i follow, its mostly just using whats at hand. ill back up n say i do have a recipee for the dilly beans, i use lots of garlic n chillies making that. ill look it up so i dont forget anything n post it here for you.

if you have too many to use all at once you can dry them. once dry, you can sautee them in oil to make chili oil (which you can use on anything)...... it gets a roasty aroma to it and smells/tastes soooo good!

with the bigger chilis you might want to take the seed "pod" out and dry them separately, and then you can either a) plant them next year or b) put them in a shaker for that extra *HEAT* like at $1 pizza places.
