chocolate trip grow

Well after reading many threads about efficiency and cobs, I just purchased a couple lights from timber.
A 400 watt square frame setup with the same Vero 29s that you have. And a 100 watt cxb3590 for my veg tent.
I beleive the new generation veros are only available in 3000k currently... but that should be perfect for flowering.
Sorry, not trying to thread jack. Just really cool how similar our setups are about to be. I run in a 3x3 so a little bit different configuration, but same lights and same strain.

I got half my pack left. I didn't scuff my seeds or anything but I planted 6 and 4 sprouted. If I can get a nice mom I'll definitely keep a clone around incase germ rates decrease.
Does anyone have experience growing or smoking this strain before?

I couldn't find a lot of info on it when I did a Google search but yeah I wish I had more room cause I would like to get a 4x4 n keep the 2x4 as a starter-veg tent. N how do you start your seed? Paper towel or do you just put into the dirt?

From the threads I found and read, only 2 original packs went up for sale, Katsu scored one of the packs. Now this is where my memory gets a bit patchy. Katsu hands out cuts but no more seeds were made until bodhi scores a small amount of these seeds (4-5) in auction and does an open pollination with them.
Limited seeds, limited grow diarys. I think some packs are still available at great lakes genetics..
But the few smoke and grow reports I found said it's a soaring saliva high that finished flowering in 8-9 weeks. And if I remember right, subtle chocolatey smells. But I guess we'll have to find out for ourselves haha

I always dampen a folder paper towel, drop my seeds in it, put the paper towel in a plastic baggy, close the baggy and put near a radiant heat source. I used to set them on top my hps hood. Usually you have a tail coming out within 24 hours but I think that's due to the warmth of the light. Either way, always more than one way to skin a cat

On a side note since this is a chocolate trip thread, I scored a 5 pack of freebies from glg with one of my orders. They were labeled doc d choco trip f3 (bodhi seed stock)
Unfortunately I started 3 and they never broke the shell or even tried to.
Bodhis had much better germ rate.

Nice, I haven't gone through glg yet I got mine through jbc (jamesbeanco) but yeah I have chocolope as well so I will see which one I like better then do a chucker session with a GDP as my first project.

Oh damn, now that you mention it JBC is who I got mine from also. Stand up guy for sure, just forgot about his shop.
Chocolope is one of my favorite strains. I got some from a buddy in Colorado and I swear the trichomes density was so much the trichome heads globbed together in these clusters. It looked like the buds had been soaked a crumbly wax of some sort. And truly intoxicating smell and smoke.
Wish I could have a cut of that one
Either way will be interesting to see what the gdp adds to either of these strains. Cool plans

OK so far so good after the tea the girls have picked up also turned the LEDs up to help raise the heat which also helped. But boy oh boy are they starting to stink so with have to turn on the filter this weekend for sure.

So good news one boy n one girl and for some reason they are not stinking as much so not sure if the tea had something to do with that or what but oh well. I will veg for another 2 weeks just for the female to get a Lil bigger but I did top her over the weekend to even the canopy and for the double cola.

OK so quick update. So I believe I have a phosphorus deficiency but with my high pH that might not be the only problem. I did finally get some pH up/down to get the pH under control and all so doing more Wormcast tea to help. Once I get that fixed hopefully by next week I'll flip to 12/12.

So now that they have had some ph'ed water and worm tea they have really picked back up with new growth. So this weekend I'm flipping to 12/12.
