Chronic Thunder Stealth Closet Grow!!

Have 2 Girls, both are Chronic Thunder from the same seed bank but look s bit different.. and are growing different. But we will see anyways.. This is Only My Second Grow but looking to do a SCROG setup and im using a T5 CFL throughout Veg and hopefully will have the dough scraped up to order 2 Mars 300 units for 70 each by the time I flower. These girls basically started aroundScreenshot_2017-06-23-19-51-16.png Screenshot_2017-06-23-19-52-39.png Screenshot_2017-06-23-19-51-16.png May 20th But were popped in soil then transplanted to hydro so they had quite a big setback. Theyre getting nice and healthy now and developing good root systems. Ive Topped The Bigger bushier plant on the right and have done a little bit of LST and tonight im going to top a second time for some clones & to let the smaller leafier one on the left catch up and beef up a bit. No huge rush. More looking for mass and quality. So my lights are on 18/6 and I have a blower fan from outside under the house blowing in nice cool air.. timer is set to kick on every other half hour. Also have a box fan in front of my duct inlet to distribute it. Running a small 6" fan even with my T5 to neutralize dissapating heat as much as possible. All walls are Mylar and the invironment is about 5 foot long and 2 and a half ft deep. Just built a PVC frame with eyehooks for my trellis netting and the girls should be big enough for me to start training with trellis in a week or so. I have 5 gallon buckets and am currenly using the following nutrients :
- General Hydro 3 Part Flora Series
-General Hydro Rapid Root
-CalMag
-Hydrogaurd
Whenever I switch to flower I will add Big Bud and try a few new nutes to add mass then flush out with Final Phase.
I am also doing a light foliar spray of ph adjusted water and flora grow once every few days and organic neem oil once a week on the undersides of leaves.
**All wise input appreciated** & Thanks for checking out one of my first threads!!:peace:bongsmilie

GOOD NEWS GUYS!! Was very fortunate today and made some mula. Ive been looking to get two Mars Hydro 300 Watt Led Units and Coincidentally Mars is having an 8 year anniversary sale all this month. Crazy luck right?? They retail for 70$ apiece on ebay. I picked the set of 2 up for 117$ free shipping. The girls should love them and It will help me to get more firm dense buds with tighter inter node spacing. Also itll get me through flower with much more ease. Ill post again when they arrive in a week or so with a full update on the girls, my introduction of them to the SCROG.. and a full review on my MARS Hydro 300s!! Till Then Happy Growing :peace::weed::leaf:

Hey Guys, Almost thought noone was following the thread but I appreciate the positive vibes!! I bought 2 Mars 300 units, awesome light spectrum blues and red.
Picked them up for 130$ on sale.
FIRST IMPRESSION:
Packages are heavy. Arrived quick, undamaged, and the company packs them very well with tons of styraphome. Lights are a good weight & of good quality in my opinion. All hardware to mount is solid. Not flimsy at all.
VERY BRIGHT, COVER 2X2, 1 per plant seems optimal but I could probably flower 4 under the 2 lights. They run very cool and didnt really mess with my previous temps much. Fans are super quiet. Happy customer.
UPDATE:
The plants have been flowering for 9 days, gave them a little time to adjust to the switch from CFL to LED before I switched light cycles. They love the Mars 300s!! My plants turned 10 shades darker green within days and the growth was booming. My root systems growth excelled as well. Just added BIG BUD to my nutrient change a day ago so were getting ready for the fun stuff. Of Course ive uploaded some pics. Some good blossoms. Attempting the scrog but need to add a second trellis net. I did try to weave and control branches also used numerous LST methods thru Veg.
2nd Indoor Grow. Dont hate. I put the remote to my TV next to the MARS 300 that way you guys can get an idea of its true size.Screenshot_2017-07-13-22-46-32.png Screenshot_2017-07-13-22-46-05.png Screenshot_2017-07-13-22-45-59.png Screenshot_2017-07-13-22-45-42.png Screenshot_2017-07-13-22-45-26.png Screenshot_2017-07-13-22-45-09.png

Looking really good bro! They're probably just two different phenotypes, either leaning towards indica or sativa. I usually don't like the purple light, but yours look cool. Mars has a nice spectrum. Good luck man

I appreciate that. And your probably right. The one on the left is a little more compact but its hefty. Feels like its going to have weight to it. I just needed something a step up from cfl but I was impressed by them as well when I first plugged them up. Best of luck back to you & happy growing my friend :peace::bigjoint:

I can already imagine what they'll look like when it's time to harvest....I can't wait to get mine now.
I know!! These lights are really pulling their weight. Hoping to get atleast a G per true watt but we will see. Youll love it. I know alot of people hate on MARS HYDRO but it is what it is for the money. Lifetime warrany might be so so but as long as each light holds up long enough for me to get through 1 grow my investments paid for  So for 70 bones you cant lose.

Really? I've only heard good things about mars hydro especially when used in small grows. I'm going to run a 300w with my 150w ufo then grab another 300w before flower. my setup is pretty similar to yours so i'm hoping to get great results.

In everyones honest opinion do you guys think I could fit another plant in there?? I can fit three 5 gallon buckets in there comfortably. But would it be overcrowding things? The SCROG should pretty much take care of that, right? My plan is to take another area about the same size & start veg & flower a couple weeks then move to closet area to scrog until harvest. That way I could basically do a perpetual grow cycle. But id like to squeeze three IF THE RESULTS WILL BENEFIT ME. Input????

you'd probably be fine as long as you tend to the plants and train them so your grow space doesn't become overcrowded and get mold.
