One thing is you are keeping your room too cold, you should be at least 80f days and no lower than 70f nights if possible. Im not sure about the pic above, could be some sort of tox? If you have a smartphone get a free lux meter app and see what lux you are measuring at the top of the plants. Also curious what you paid for the drivers/cobs. you said you got a deal?

I had some heat stress when I was running up to 80f. I bumped night Temps to 65f. I'll look into the apps for intensity measurements.

70 cobs, 23 drivers, 70 pads, holders and reflectors for $2050.

I think u might have something else going on. If your meter is accurate, 38000 lux isnt too much by a long shot. I measured my peppers Ive got going and they are doing fine getting 50000 lux at the tops and Ive heard of people using over 100k lux on pot.

It's important to remember that lumens (and therefore lux) are heavily weighted to the green portion of the light spectrum, because that's what human eyes respond best to- but leaves do a pretty good job reflecting green.

Hence the saying, lumens are for humans.

These Led's spectrum is pretty weak in the green range intentionally.

This is true, but Im using 3000k 90 cri citizen cobs so while not great for measuring overall effectiveness, it should work for comparing our light intensity at the plant level, at least in a relatively crude way.

Thanks.
Because I seemed to be getting bleaching, I moved them to be about 4ft above the canopy.

Next run, I'll be spreading them out about 50% and moving them closer in hopes of improving yeild per watt.
how close were they when they bleached? you're running at 1400mah max, right?
