i received a clone from my friend and it is doing great. however all of his plants that came from the same mother as my clone have all gone hermy a month into flowering. he has grown this strain before and has never had any hermies. my question is should i get rid of my clone? or should i wait until i flower and see if it goes hermy but im worried the clone will pollinate all my plants which came from feminized seeds? any advice would be great

Is this the first round of clones from that mother? If not, have his other grows been hermie? If that's the case get rid of it. If it's the first round he may have stressed the whole grow so wait to see what happens with your plant. I'd like to see other opinions.

wait and see, then if it does hermie.. u could just put it outside a few km away from your house let it bud and get the seed....

but if its thesame as the others its more than likely going to be a hermie yes..

p.s ill be editing this post in a minute theres a few things id preffer to keep private but i wanted to give you an idea of some of the shit you could do

no.....

its true that if you do it right tho you can come out with seeds that will have a higher female ratio or go hermie, it also depends on the hermie, some banks feminizedseeds are second rate and have probs going hermie instead of being female.....

but if you breed with a femiinized plant and hermie, you should have good odds of female, as to your not polinating with smething that has dominant male genetics... my advice is do some ressearch n seed breeding, hermies and anything yu can find about feminizing seeds, wish i culd be more hel-pim still researching it and im noy 100% crystal clar on the precesses and what not maself.... i think i could get a 75% ratio as is :) but i cant write aything for sur like i said im still learning, if the hermie polinates itself the seeds have a higher female and hermy rate.... you will still get male seeds tho :( from what i gather :).

the easiest way to breed them is to stress feinized plants to hermie and ue that pollen on another fem, but like i said some seedbanks genetics arent up to scratch... so still you may only get seeds with god ratios.... it takes a bit of effort to breed propper fem seeds.....

sorry i cant be more help but im still learning and i dnt want to take you off track with false beliefs and hopes

if im wrong please somebody let me know cos i really need to know too...
