Clone topped itself. Awesome!

Self topping probably means she lost her apical dominance, not a good thing. This could lead into some kind of whorled phyllotaxy, again not good. Hard to tell from those pics but see how it goes. :-)
Hey thanks for the lesson. I have to admit I had no clue what you were talking about. After some research I now know what you are telling me. Apical dominance is the main stem being dominant over all other branches and on a branch the main stem is dominant over its branclets. Whorled phyllotaxy is a different leaf arrangement of the regular leaves. I'm finding no evidence saying that any of these mutations effect thc content or terp profiles. In fact, I have found in some cases growers claiming to have had an increase in yield. What is bad about it?

It is a mutation but not a breedable one, it will go away if you work whatever stress is annoying them out.

I was just mentioning it because usually if a plant tops itself for no observable reason it is because of this.

I have pictures from five/six years ago when it happened to me as a reference for you to see if yours starts doing the same if it dosent then it your good and was just some weird thing. This happened to several of my plants all at once in different stages -

Sorry man, after reading it over I feel like I was attacking you. You're absolutely right. A hurricane recently came through and knocked out my power for six day's causing the stress on that individual clone, but on others; it made them grow quicker then I've ever seen any vegged plant (without added hormones) grow. All others are doing fine (in veg). Got a little early red hairs on the bloom tent due to it though.... Riding it out. More research needs to go into lights out during veg.... If anyone is up to it and has the space.

I just gave an educated guess, there will be other reasons and who knows really.

If your plants grew better in more wind then it might be signalling somthing needs tweaking a little.

See how things go :-)

The environment is fine. The lights were off of the girls for 4 days to to a hurricane knocking out my power. I assume it stresses her out causing it to top it self.

I feel like my plants self topped due to a combination of heat, light, too windy or not windy enough etc etc.

Time will tell here anyway, it gets worse or it gets better, i'm rooting for it getting better :-)

It happens .. This one had the the top shoot shrivel and die off.
I just let it go , due to the mini little shoots I seen between the baby leaves ....

Now she still is very young and is adapting ... So maybe I will grow her out and mainline it.

This is from seed - not clone ....
