I am currently doing that myself. There seems to be an opinion that it is possible to lose some of the genetics from doing this but I don't see how personally. I forced to try this just because of space requirements, so far so good with me. I should also remind you that the age of your clone will still be the same age as the original mother. Wish I could be more help but hope this helps some.

as far as i know, (and thats not a great distance), as long as the mother is in good shape, genetics wise, ur clone should be just as good as the mom. and making ur cutting into a mother shouldnt be a problem.

In aero I take the cutting from the vegatative palnt then let it rebuild then put into flower. Cutting goes from cloner to vegger then flower over and over. I buy a clone and then it is mine until i find something new.

I will work just fine. Check out StinkBuds thread. That's all he does is clone clones so he doesn't have to keep mothers. I clone clones with no ill effect. I have kept mothers for over a year before being replaced.

i had a mother 2 years ag that i cloned and used that as a mother than a year ago i cloned that clone and made a new mother than a few months ago i cloned that mother and used the clone as a new mom you can keep on goin untile you get tierd of the strain which is where im at now

There's no downside taking successive generations of clones, and no genetic degradation, as there is when you continuously take cuttings off the same mother (pruning stress).

No i like to flower a mother plant after a few months any how.The only problem that you will have is the plants size don't forget that the plant will double in size sometime tripple. You are lucky realy that it is white widow because this strain is not a realy big plant.I have a widow flowering a this time she is 5 week in and i flowered at 1 ft she is about 2 ft tall and well bushy full of thick dence nugs allready.Take a few clones so that you can keep the front runner has a new mother.
