clones drying out (fixable?)

So I'm using the most basic setup... Rockwool cubes water and humidity try/dome. I took the cuts about 7 days ago now, they're all mostly still looking pretty good, but I don't think they've rooted yet, or have just barely started. My cubes are getting a bit dry though and I'm wondering if there's a way I can get them wet again without messing up the clone itself. I've already lost 4 from drying out.

keep cubes damp, and mist every day, keep humidity dome/ propagator in a dimly lit corner and keep temps in the mid 70,s some they usually root in 10-14 days. Walters method above works as well, using capiliary action to keep the cube damp, good luck

I have 0.5" of wet perlite at the bottom of my humidity dome, keeping my peat blocks fine all the time. A friend is using seramis for the same purpose, it's also working. Do you mist them everyday?

I mist mines every day, based on a cloning thread I read in here maybe 5 years ago, seems to work, about 75% of my clones root, but theres always the occasional onw which just dosnt take

I personally am not a fan of misting unless necessary...it slows the root development due to the intake of water through the foliar feeding...FYI I use a DIY bubble cloner with no humidity dome

I just built one myself! After you have some roots showing, what do you transplant into? I'm planning on transplanting them into soil
