i got about 12 plants right now from good seeds that are a little over a foot tall and around a month old. my question is when would be the best time to cut clones from these plants? i have heard the best time to cut the clones is 6-8 weeks into the veg cycle. my only prob with that is i wouldnt know for sure if the clones will be females. is it okay to cut clones from female plants that are uner the 12/12 light cycle?

yes dont be smart with him dude just give him a solid answer!

also you want to have 4-7 internodes on your plant so. it wont stress out your plant to be. if you plants a foot tall you should not have a problem. with the stress.

You can cut them from plants in the 12/12 light cycle do it in the first two weeks. Easier all the way around.

Hey POOCH..

no need to veg a plant for 6-8 weeks unless you are growing HUGE plants and HAVE lots of LIGHT....

PLants that are vegged for 6-8 weeks can produce 50-200 clones ( per plant)... wowzers

To save time.. you can take the clones once you have 6+ nodes in the veg period.... depends on how many clones you want....

mark/label the clones and the plant that you took the clones from (the same marking, maybe colored tape wrapped on a toothpick)

When you flower the plant, if it is female you keep the clones.. if it is male, you throw the clones away.. this method is a bit more work.. but it saves a couple weeks on turn around time... :)
