cloning a flowering plant!1

i know its possible to clone a flowering plant but is it worth it? or will i be cussing and swearing? anybody have any luck doing this??
i am 27 days in flower,

I tried several times within the last 2 weeks of flowering with no luck They rooted fine but never shoot out any new growth. I think the earlier you take the clone the better your chances. I had great success during the first 4 weeks of flowering.

I have done it a few times, 100% satisfaction. In fact my current mother was taken from a plant that was 5 weeks into flower.
