Cloning gel?

I was wondering if any of you use cloning gel and if so what kind?

Also what is the best way to use it. Do i put the clone into soil or do I use a cup with water until the roots start to grow?

I use shultz root hormone. It is a powder and I have great results with it. It cose like 4 or 5 dollars at lowes or home depot!

Get Some Rootech! Its About $10. Just Take Your Cutting And Dip It Into The Gel, Then Dip It Into Some Plain Water To Dillute It A Little So You Dont Get A Ball At The End Of The Cutting, Then Put It Into A Plug ( Soil I Guess) And In 7-10 Days You'll Have Some Furry Roots Coming Out Everywhere. I use Olivias and have had great success...had a aero cloner as well as using plugs and worked great with both.....

BTW Can you use a seedling tray with soil ?
If you put it into soil, how will you see roots growing?
