cloning in aeroponics and flowering.

i have seen these baskets which are pretty close to 4 inches in diameter filled with pea gravel. Do they ever have to move to a bigger basket, or changed? I remember when doing rockwool i was always upsizing the rockwool putting one size into the next size bigger. Seems to me that aeroponics is alot cheaper, and yields are better, and the combination of the 2 have me intrested in exploring this. Any input is appreciated.

It sounds like you are describing net pots and possibly hydroton, but I'm not sure. You can get net pots in all different sizes.

Ya.. it's net pots, and hydrotron. You don't move it to a bigger net pot as the roots grow through the holes, you would rip it apart trying to replant it. I like 6" net pots personally..no other reason than I had the pots at my disposal.

You should look into DWC. I'm a big fan since I changed over from ebb and flow and timed top feeding about a year ago. No leaks, no hoses running anywhere.. except for airlines, but you can put those wherever you want so you aren't tripping on them. It's easy, it's cheap, and it's effective, in my opinion... good luck!
Hope I helped answered your question.
