Cloning ??'s

I'm growing 4 diff strains right now they are about 4 weeks old and still pretty small. I really want to get clones from them but I don't know if they are gonna have the undergrowth needed to clone by when I want to flower them. Would it be better to just wait and flower them later after they have given me clones?

Or should I flower them when I planned to and just take cutting post 12/12 and re vegg them. I'm going to have less root able clones after a week or 2 of 12/12?
are there any negative effects of re vegging cutting taken from a flowering plant.

IMO i would let it grow and take clones when big enouph, but im sure you could clone in flowering if theres no buds yet. I know some ppl take clones from budding plants, but i think it takes longer that way because it has to switch back to veg. I like to do it 2 weeks before flower that way the plant has 2 weeks to recover and the clone has 2 weeks to root so its ready to take the place of the plant that you put into flowering.

You can take cuttings in the first few weeks of 12/12, but bear in mind, your clones may start flowering once they root.

I would wait on flowering until after you have taken the clones. Cloning flowering plants can be done, but it's not as easy.

Alright I think i'm gonna push back flower unless some major growth takes place in this upcoming week.

personally I would say if they aren't big enough to clone from, they aren't big enough to flower yet. But that is all personal preference.
